We are looking for our next BarberShopCo star store leader!

Are you making decisions about your future? Perhaps you are counting down mortgage payments and thinking ‘I’ve done well but I really want more options’? 

If you have experience leading a team and you can access some capital from your home, we may have a solution. 

Our Intern program includes a six month training and development period where you are paired with a professional coach & seconded to an established team and store. This means we get to train and know you while you get to know us and the business. During the Internship the company provides a reduced salary and with success facilitates your purchase of an established BarberShopCo outlet. 

Store Owners make $115k - $240k per annum depending on the size of the store and its date of establishment. There is also opportunity for capital gain which means you will have a significant asset to sell.

To succeed in this role you will need to have experience in leading a team, you need to be an extravert that thrives in a busy environment with lots of moving parts. Ideally you have experience in a client facing role, maybe as a Restaurant Manager, Retail Store Manager or perhaps a Front Desk Manager in a hotel, regardless, you recognise that it’s the details that really matter. Now it's time to leverage your experience to create a positive financial outcome for yourself.

As Intern Store Owner you will be responsible for implementing all of the details that create a world class client experience. You will connect with your team on the daily and help each team member to unlock their own potential to drive your business forward for the benefit of our clients, themselves and you as eventual business owner.

You will need to have ambition. You’re at the stage of life where you understand that success is hard won and never easy. BarberShopCo has developed the processes and systems to ensure your success, you have to be prepared to do it. 

If you are successfully placed after the internship, Barber Shop Company provides a guaranteed buy-back period on the basis that you deliver the processes you’ve been trained to implement.

This job isn’t easy. You need to be open and clear with your team so they know how to move forward & you will need to be in your store for at least forty hours per week. If you have exacting standards and think ‘I want to do something’ we’d love to chat with you.
